Cubmaster - Don Adams
Don Adams started off in Scouting as a Wolf Scout in 1970. He progressed through
Webelos and joined Boy Scout Troop 748 in Pasadena, MD. He progressed through
each of the ranks, being elected to the positions of Assistant Patrol Leader and
then Patrol Leader. He became an Eagle Scout in 1981 through Troop 887 of Glen
Burnie, MD. After turning 18, he was welcomed as an Assistant Scoutmaster for
Troop 887. He was also active as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 216, a Troop
for handicapped scouts in Severna Park, MD. After several years, he left
Scouting in favor of his career and other activities. In 2001, he rejoined when
his oldest son joined Cub Scout Pack 543, serving McCarty Elementary in Aurora
IL, and served as Den Leader for his son's Tiger den. He progressed up with that
den until 2004 when he took over the role of Cubmaster for Pack 5.
